We are still getting around all images and experiences that we want to share with you from New York but this latest film from John Varvatos somehow depicts the whole idea of the trip. It may were a little longer than 8 minutes but time flies and the wphole idea of this cool film wraps up the feeling of the trip. New York is fast paced, The Roots capture that tune playing in your head all the time while you’re there and John Varvatos is this cool Greek that made it there as Franky said.

How are you all doing? We are back from New York!
We are loaded with polekalo stuff and will be posting them daily! A special section will be available for you to check out as a small “Polekalo New York Guide”.
In the meantime check out this artwork competition that came out just today for Jamiroquai’s next single which will also be free to download for everyone! That means that your artwork will definitely be seen!
As the competition states:
“We’re delighted to announce that Jamiroquai will be releasing a brand new track next week called ‘Smile’. This previously unreleased track will be completely free and available on jamiroquai.com, Jamiroquai’s Facebook and Soundcloud.
To accompany the release we’re inviting fans to submit their own original artwork. However, you have to be quick since we want to release the track on Monday 6th!
To submit your artwork you need to do two things:
- 1. Submit the artwork to Flickr and add it to this group
- 2. Fill out this simple form so we can contact you.”

DJ Shadow’s new album is officially finished! For all you (and us) hungry fans out there, a new EP has just also been unleashed, called “I Gotta Rokk”, so that the wait is a bit less painful. The album is called “The Less You Know The Better” and it’s coming out in September! We can’t wait! What about you?

Polekalo is packing the bags! As of May 11th and until the 23rd, we will be in New York, USA for a few days. We are going to be looking for inspiration to share with you! If you are already there, been there or want to be there, just tell as about it! Where to go, what to see, who to meet and anything that comes to mind! We welcome all very good tips and tricks! There will be a complete coverage of all things polekalo* while we are there, with a special section to be presented when we are back!
We are very excited about this trip as it’s the first one that Polekalo does as a project trip! We hope that there are more to come in other places of the world so we can hook you up with everything that is polekalo*!

This is exactly what it says! A graffiti made in the center of Athens, Greece that was concieved in negative form, so that the positive brings out the real design! Check the positive and the negative image. Kudos to valiacaldadog for digging it out while walking the dog.
